Inspired by legendary boxer Ingemar ‘Ingo’ Johansson, designer Mats Theselius’s ‘Ingo’ chair channels both strength and grace. First designed in 2014, the chair was brought into focus through a set design that echoed the movement and rhythm of boxing.
We introduced a subtle swing to the scene, allowing motion to mirror the choreography of two fighters in the ring. The styling was intentionally stripped back, guided by a sense of lightness that reflected the chair’s story.
