Aoiro is the Japanese word for ’blue colour’, as well as the name of olfactory studio Aoiro. Based in Berlin and Tokyo, design duo Shizuko Yoshikuni and Manuel Kuschnig are experts in interpretations of concepts and create individually tailored scents for companies, brands and concepts around the globe.
For consumers, Aoiro has created Hakudo, a line of subtle room fragrances, diffusers and incense sticks, all made from carefully selected botanical essences and natural materials. Hakudo is based on Khodo, the Japanese ceremony of appreciating a subtle and exquisite fragrance.
