Despite its Scandi-sounding name, By Mölle is a Dutch design brand based in the countryside on the outskirts of the tiny town of Dalfsen. After searching but not finding home textiles to include in a natural home, founders Marianne Maat and Lucienne Dunnewijk decided to create their own line of designs where attention to detail, timelessness, sustainability and quality take centre stage. Through their work, Maat and Dunnewijk believe in bringing the ethos of slow living into our day-to-day routines.
All of By Mölle’s linen is grown, woven and sewn by talented artisans in Europe. Flax, from which linen is made, is the only plant textile that originates from the European continent. It is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, and gets softer the more you use it.
