Swedish Iraqi designer Sizar Alexis’s artistry started when he found himself struggling to find furniture that would suit his newly acquired Eskilstuna flat. Instead, he decided to design and build his own. This newfound passion later led him to study at Beckmans College of Design, where he received his bachelor’s degree in 2019.
His work is strongly influenced by a deep fascination for brutalist architecture, as well as geometry and minimalism. His work ranges from furniture pieces to sculptural objects.
