‘Amal’ cup and saucer

 125

The ‘Amal’ collection is a series of minimal sculptural cups and saucers inspired by the geometrical language of neoclassical architecture. Referencing the rhythm and proportions of classical columns, the pieces balance form and function.

Made in a pale terracotta-inspired tone, the exterior features a matte unglazed surface, while the glazed interior adds a refined contrast and practicality. ‘Amal’ is an expression of restraint and utility where the simple act of use is made into a tactile, architectural experience.

Open edition. Signed and numbered pieces.

The cup and saucer are sold as a kit.

Who’s the artist?

Sizar Alexis

Growing up between Iraq and Sweden, Sizar Alexis channels memory, ritual and brutalist form into sculptural furniture that feels timeless yet hard to place. In his Eskilstuna studio, pieces emerge slowly, shaped by intuition, weight and a quiet monumentality.
